2010 space walk special effects show created and produced by peter alexander 2010 spacewalk space walk took guests behind the scenes of the MGM movie by the same name. In each show, two guests donned space suits, and suspended by invisible wires took a "space walk" against a blue screen background. the audience watched the space walk live, and also on large screen TV monitors, where the space suited guests were super-imposed into an outer space scene, just as was done in the film. the show also featured the very first all CGI film - years ahead of the coming CGI revolution in film making. universal studios tour
